Siberian iris, the first blooms from Paeonia Francis, forget me nots, and of course the wild daisies obscure the spent tulips and narcissus. This is the outer crescent’s first year, since expanding the border last year.

I’ve forsaken the paper garden journal for this virtual one, having made the momentous decision to modernize, it occurred to me I should take a picture every day, recording a year in the garden. I may not post them daily, but I’ll try to update more often. π

As the garden matures annuals play a smaller role, but there’s still a few color spots a tender fuchsia (Marinka) joins winter pansies and a baby tassel fern by the front steps.
